Ara Chocolat is a small batch producer, based in Paris who make outstanding chocolate, winning many awards worldwide each year. They are passionate about fair trade, sourcing the best sustainable cacao in thoughout Central and Southern America. Not only do they ensure those who work on the cocoa farms receive a fair price for their product, they also package their chocolate in recyclable material. The chocolate they produce is rustic, produced in very small batches and is just how chocolate making should be. Each variety is totally unique and each year we are excited to see the results of Ara’s chocolate making expertise. There is no guide to making great chocolate – it is the experience & dedication of the producers that denotes the end product. We have been very impressed with the dedication of the Ara team and are delighted to see the results of their hard work at the International Chocolate Awards. In 2016 their Criollo bars won Gold, Silver & Bronze!! We know 2017 will be a great year for them around the world.
