The fruit of the Cacao Tree (Theobroma Cacao – ‘the food of the gods’) has been eaten since at least 200BC and yet today most people know so little about how it is made. The finest quality chocolate isn’t a cheap mass produced product. Our artisan producers use sustainable and ethically sourced cacao from remote corners of the earth. They are true craftspeople. They roast, winnow, grind, conch & temper their chosen cacao beans into the final product. Their dedication to their craft and their expertise affects the chocolate you are soon to taste. Fine chocolate is like fine wine. It is to be savoured, appreciated, shared and enjoyed. Our artisan producers want you to savour the adventure they have been on in producing each bar. Each producer has their own story to tell. Each batch is unique. Everyone will have their favourite and we have loved finding ours. It is a unique journey into the world of chocolate and a true taste experience.
